Child Care Enrollment
All enrollment with the Door Community Child Development Center is based on a first come first serve. Families needing full-time care will be given priority, we will try to accommodate part-time schedules with other part-time requests to fill a full-time spot, this is not always available. Start dates are dependent on when a spot opens. When a spot opens, we will begin to call families from our wait list. Families will have 24 hours to return our call and to either accept or deny their child’s spot to secure care. If a family chooses to decline the open spot, they will have the choice to be removed from the waitlist, or they will be placed at the bottom of the list.

What is Head Start, you ask?
It is a federal program that goes beyond just early childhood education. Head Start is a holistic approach that nurtures your child’s mental, social, and emotional development. We believein supporting the whole child and their family, providing health, nutrition, social, and other essential services.

Academic Support: Our caring teachers are here to give the right mix of extra help with schoolwork and enjoyable activities. We'll support your child in doing well in their studies while encouraging a love for learning!
Health & Wellness: At DOCO Child Development, we prioritize your child's well-being through physical activity, healthy habits, and mindfulness exercises for overall development.
Social-Emotional Development: We prioritize emotional growth and strong relationships in a nurturing environment to foster self-expression, empathy, and lasting friendships.

Kids Kitchen: Ignite little chefs! Hands-on nutrition, recipes, life skills.
